About me

Picture
I'm a senior communications and political professional with more than 25 years of high-level UK government, business and not-for-profit experience now advising clients from my office in Washington DC.

With expertise in communications strategy, media relations, stakeholder engagement and reputation management, I have a proven record of providing quality support to purposeful organizations looking to increase their influence and impact in the US, UK and elsewhere.

After starting out as a journalist in Manchester, England, I worked inside the UK Labour Government under Tony Blair as a special adviser to the Home Secretary and Foreign Secretary providing communications and political advice on critical issues.

I have also worked with high-profile companies, led in-house communications teams and was the Chief Executive of a medical research and advocacy charity for more than four years.

Having moved to Washington DC from London in 2023, I am now advising organizations across a range of sectors, including healthcare, justice and foreign affairs. I write comment pieces for LabourList and am a founder of The Power Test podcast in the UK.

You can take a look at some of the clients I have been working with here.

Do get in touch if you would like to talk further on how my expertise and insight can help you and your work. I would love to hear from you.
